Yesterday, Smith Swimming and Diving lost one of our own. Assistant Coach Marly Pineda was injured in a bicycle accident in Boston. Those injuries were fatal and Marly passed on later that same evening.
Clearly, we are all hurt over this incredible loss and are attempting to focus on what we have left. Marly was a bright light for our team, and that legacy of positivity and dedication will never die. She will be missed.
